𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗕𝗡𝗥𝗠 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗻

The Ngamiland Council of Non-Governmental Organisations (NCONGO), in partnership with the Community Leaders Network (CLN) and the Ngamiland CBNRM Forum, has invited all Community-Based Organisations (CBOs) and community trusts to attend a two-day Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) Forum.

The forum will take place at Maun Lodge on 15–16 July 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Organisers say the meeting will provide a platform for stakeholders to reflect on the current challenges facing Botswana's CBNRM programme, develop practical solutions, and begin the process of establishing a National CBNRM Association.

Community trusts wishing to participate have been asked to confirm their attendance by 7 July 2026 during working hours.

The purpose of this engagement is to provide updates on key developments within the tourism sector and to gather valuable industry input on strategic initiatives that will shape the future of tourism in Botswana.
