Ingredients for 2.5L plain scones (My version)

4 cups cake flour
1/2 cup Sugar
4tsp baking powder
½tsp bicarbonate of soda (optional)

Mix and rub in 150g cold margarine

Add
280L Amasi (250ml cup +30ml)
2tsp Vanilla essence.

Do not overmix your dough, Cut, eggwash and bake at 220/230degree on deck oven or 200 on normal home oven for 17 minutes.

You will get 12 to 14 scones depending on how you cut.
