I am a passionate civic leader and strategic marketing and communication professional, committed to empowering young people, strengthening communities, and inspiring collective action through service. I believe true leadership is demonstrated through measurable impact, compassion, and a relentless drive to create opportunities that elevate others.

Driven by a deep commitment to serving the community and championing youth empowerment, I serve as the partner and ambassador for the Gifting Hands Annual Donation & Mentorship Programme, leading initiatives that provide young people with vital resources, mentorship, and hope. To further scale this impact, I founded the Teen Students Conference; a dynamic platform dedicated to helping teens discover their purpose, build resilience, and unlock their leadership potential.

We're excited to officially launch the Gifting Hands Annual Community Impact Programme 2026-our flagship initiative dedicated to giving hope, inspiring change, and empowering communities through acts of kindness and mentorship.

This year's programme will support the Mmathethe Community and Mmathethe Junior School Boarding School, where we aim to provide essential supplies and meaningful mentorship to learners, helping them thrive academically, socially, and personally.

Since its inception, Gifting Hands has proudly delivered impactful community initiatives, including:
✅ Annual Donation & Mentorship Drives at Sebego Primary School
✅ Kgodisong Centre Donation Drive (2025)

Kanye Teens Talk 2026: Empowering the Next Generation

Kanye, Botswana – Kanye is set to host the much-anticipated Kanye Teens Talk Session 2026, a youth empowerment programme dedicated to nurturing leadership, resilience, and responsible citizenship among young people.

Scheduled for Saturday, 2 May 2026, at the scenic Mokhasi Campsite Garden, the event will run from 09:00 to 12:00 hrs under the inspiring theme “Empowered Minds, Resilient Futures.”

A Platform for Dialogue and Growth
The initiative, spearheaded by community advocate Lebogang Gosego Mmakgadisa, continues to provide a safe and engaging space for teenagers to openly discuss challenges affecting their lives. Topics on the agenda include:
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
- Peer pressure and self-identity
- Risky behaviour and its consequences
- Academic and career guidance
- Life skills and decision-making

Programme Highlights
This year’s session promises a dynamic programme featuring:
- Youth motivational talks led by respected mentors and professionals
- Interactive dialogue sessions encouraging teens to share experiences and solutions
- Community engagement discussions involving parents, educators, and stakeholders
- Recognition of outstanding learners, celebrating achievements in academics and community service

Voices of Inspiration
Among the guest speakers are Mr Edwin Mashiakgomo, BTV News & Sports Anchor, and Lebogang Mmakgadisa, a mentor and ambassador for youth initiatives including the Sebego Primary School Donation Drive and the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI).

Call to Action
Organizers emphasize the importance of community involvement, urging parents, educators, and leaders to join the conversation. “The Teens Talk Initiative values the role of the media and community in uplifting young people. Together, we can build resilient futures,” said Mmakgadisa in his request for publication.
