~bad again~
It’s getting bad again
I don’t know where to start
I’m back to barely eating
Forcibly breathing
Losing myself
Lost without help
“Use a rubber band”
“It’s safer” they said
No one warned against the euphoric feeling
Staring up at the ceiling
Cutters are like surgeons
The need to cut something drives them
Driving us insane
Sending us wild
Making us crazy
But depression making us “lazy”
I don’t mean to make excuses but
It’s getting bad again
I carry a blade just in case
But I smile and say “I’m clean” just to save face
I eat whatever’s handed to me
Then sprint to the bathroom, that’s the new me
The one who can’t keep a meal down
The one who’s always having a breakdown
I don’t mean to sound pitiful but
It’s getting bad again
Dragging a blade across my wrist
Wishing I had the courage to break a promise
To let that blade slip into my skin
To let the depression win
I don’t mean to come off as attention seeking but
It’s getting bad again
I’m fighting so many battles
Losing one after the other
Deciding which is worst than another
Helping and healing is my passion
Being iconic, forget fashion
Legendary, the true G.O.A.T
I’m good at what i do not to gloat
I don’t mean to cry out but
It’s getting bad again
I’m crying for help can’t you hear me
Over the sound of your own voice?
Time after time caught with my eyes moist
Ignored and discarded
It’ll be too late by time my cries are regarded
How many bruises do I need to be noticed?
How many fresh wounds to be pointed out?
How many tears to be taken serious?
How many “It’s getting bad again” for you to listen
“You’re fine. It was a phase”
A phase of my life that almost killed me
I don’t mean to be graphic but
I wish it had
Maybe then I’d be .... glad
Or maybe something else
Maybe if it did I’d feel something
Instead I’m numb to the world
Unable to feel pain
Unemotional to the mass
I’m no teacher and this is no class
I don’t mean to seem sad but
It’s getting bad again
So bad I release tears like rainfall
The pitter patter on the glass
Stop, slow down, take a breath
It’s gotten so bad again
That I’ve started visualizing my death
