: Over the weekend, I had obligations at two events, one that I co-produced with my bro Junior Jones, our annual event, and another where I booked the talent. Both events were happening on the same day and at the same time and totally sold out.

The plan was simple: get to his event and on stage by 5PM, then head over to my other event by 6PM, which was scheduled to wrap at 9PM.

Well… things didn’t exactly go according to plan. 🤦🏻‍♂️

On the day of the show, Davido’s set got pushed from 5PM to 6:45PM because of the rain. Then, traffic getting into the venue delayed us by another hour. By the time Davido finally hit the stage, it was a little after 8PM.

I left him on stage, ran to my vehicle, only to find out I was completely blocked in by other vehicles. 😤

After finally getting the cars moved, I made my way to my birthday party with only about 30 minutes left.

I didn’t even get a chance to change. I showed up to my birthday party in a tracksuit and slippers. 😂

Gotta give a huge shoutout to my bro Junior Jones for holding down the fort. We can’t always be everywhere at once, but when you have the right people beside you, you know the job will still get done.

Much love to and his team for trusting me to bring him to for Cabana’s Summer Series.

His management told me that a million people reached out asking them to bring him, and they told everyone no, he wasn’t available. So I appreciate you for allowing me to make this happen.

This was probably their fastest sellout ever at Cabana.
