I'm a Graphic Designer and Marketing Planner woman who likes travel, design, art and thinking outside of the box. My passion and my business are supporting women and very low-income communities in Brazil showing here in the US their art and histories. Ethnic Brazil is a Colorado-based company that was created to offer a unique and fashionable experience to American women, bringing to the market exclusive and one of a kind product designed and handmade in Brazil. Our jewelry collection uses different types of straws, fibers, wood, and seeds. The unique designs follow shapes, colors and different textures encountered in the Brazilian ecosystem. The idea is to transform natural resources into urban and modern pieces, following the main fashion trends, without failing to highlight the grandeur of the Brazilian nature. We work with the river and native community partners withdrawing resources judiciously, generating jobs and income for regions that mainly do artisanal work. The extraction of raw materials follows standards that ensure no harm is done to the environment in the process. We apply the pillars of sustainability: to be ecologically sound, economically viable and socially fair. Ethnic Brazil is much more than just selling things. Every piece of the Collection has a unique history behind it, a history of a life of many strong women artisans in Brazil. I created this business to share with you the beautiful work of these women and bring to you a little piece of my country, Brazil, or Brasil in Portuguese! Ethnic Brazil is a way to stay connected with my roots and my essence, it allows me to share with other women things that I love to wear and continually support women of my native country.

Colorado always amazes me… maybe because I’m Brazilian and the landscape here feels so different from the land where I grew up. Sometimes wild, sometimes mysterious, but always beautiful. Grateful for these little moments when I can connect with the earth and feel its energy.

Today I made my natural botanical tonic for face and body, inspired by something deeply rooted in Brazilian culture: our ancestral connection with plants and the natural medicinal world.

For generations, Indigenous knowledge, old traditions, and family remedies have carried the wisdom of nature from one generation to another. Mine is a blend of worlds—Native Brazilian wisdom intertwined with traditions and plants brought from the Old World, creating something uniquely Brazilian.

Lavender, basil, thyme, cloves, oregano, cinnamon… each plant carries its own history, fragrance, and energy.

This is my little ritual—a reminder that nature has always been part of how Brazilians care for the body, mind, and spirit. ✨
