Cuando pensamos en reggae, probablemente el primer nombre que aparece sea Bob Marley.
Pero la historia de este género empieza mucho antes y es mucho más grande.
Nació en Jamaica, creció entre el ska, el rocksteady y los sound systems, encontró una voz en sus artistas y productores, y terminó convirtiéndose en una expresión de identidad, comunidad y resistencia.
Y lo más interesante es que la historia todavĂa no terminĂł.
Hoy el reggae sigue sonando en Jamaica y en todos los rincones del mundo, en nuevas generaciones de artistas que siguen encontrando cosas que decir a través de este sonido.
