Civilisation, for the moment, can wait.
The sea provides the blue
The sun the gold,
The rest is left to imagination.

The landscape never ends where the sea meets the shore.
It follows us quietly, settling into our hands, our memory, our colours.
These ochres, muted greens and warm earth tones are not borrowed from nature; they are what remained within me after looking.
Every painting begins long before the first brushstroke.
It begins with a place that chooses to stay.
