ILLUMINATE is just one month away and everyone is already SO excited. With 110+ sign ups already, we have a feeling it is going to be an awesome weekend. If you are a JA 7-12th grader, SIGN UP! Get your friends to sign up. Get your brother and/or sister to sign up. Get the pal you sit next to in history class to sign up.

From the start of planning for the Jackson Academy 2016 Fall Retreat, God has made His presence so real. At a loss of ideas concerning an activity for the weekend, the answer came to one team leader word for word in the form of a church bulletin.
Think on this next statement. If God has already shown such goodness in just getting the event going, imagine what He has in store for the actual weekend itself.
The event will be held both on and off the JA campus November 11-13. Speaking as former JA Retreat attenders, God changes lives through this revival everyone.
We encourage all 7-12th graders to sign up using the link on our page. Encourage your friends. Like, tag, share, because we are so excited for ILLUMINATE.

The retreat is just 8 short days away and everyone is really excited! 265 students so far are going to be apart of this awesome weekend! We have been praying for a long time about the weekend coming up and we know God is going to do incredible things! A Note From the Retreat Leaders:

When we originally were called to organize this event we thought it was a fantasy. Jesus showed us a vision of what could possibly be an event to bring fame to His name. From the moment Jesus gave us that vision, He completely took over. Letting God use us this past year to bring Him glory and make Him famous has been the greatest experience of our high school careers. While we were still sinners and we didn't always make the right choices, He chose to use us. We are overwhelmed by his work and his presence this past year. We will continue to be overwhelmed by the work He will do in these next upcoming years as the event to claim his name to a nation spreads and grows into something much greater than ourselves. As we all part ways we want to say thanks. First we'd like to thank our Creator. His powerful presence through every detail and every moment this past year has been unlike anything we have ever experienced. Thank you Mrs. Pratt, Mrs. Mealer and Mrs. Wilkirson. Y'all have no idea how much we appreciate y'all's support and hard work to make the name of Christ famous. Y'all are truly something special, thanks for being faithful. Thank you Jackson Academy administration and faculty. Your support for each student to pursue the plan God has for them displays the extraordinary spiritual role models that we are called to be as followers to Christ. Thank you Grace City Church. We have seen what a true house of God looks like through your church. Thank you for helping us make Jesus name known. Thank you students. Your willingness to lead and carry on a tradition to lead your classmates closer to Jesus displays the beauty of living in the Kingdom of heaven. Continue to live in the presence of Christ and never be afraid of what's around the corner. We cannot wait to see what God will do with JA. We hope that each upcoming student sees Jesus and our prayer is that this event will be a window to see and experience Him. We can't wait to continue to witness what God will do these next few years and we can't wait to see what God has planned for each person in the JA family.
