ALARME PHONE SAHARA / AFRIKAWA .
Alarme Phone Sahara (APS) is a cooperation project between associations, groups and individuals in the Sahel-Saharan region and Europe with the aim to defend the lives and the freedom of movement of migrants and refugees against repressive and often deadly migration policies. The members of the Alarme Phone Sahara network are based in Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo, Morocco, Germany and Austria. To a large extent, it has also been inculcated into the Alarme Phone Sahara's objectives, whose office is located even with a network of whistleblowers in Agadez Niger, (a crossroads of migration in the Sahelo-Saharan zone), to provide reliefs to the very many African migrants deported from North African Countries and stranded in the Sahara region. APS has been very instrumental supporting the migrants psychologically and morally.
It is in the prospect of their humanitarian service that the organisation (APS) come together with AFRIKAWA Group/ Nig.ltd to pursue an intensive awareness to the general public about the dangers and the risk of plying the journey through the desert, without any interference or opposition to the right to freedom of movement/migration.
Afrikawa, as we know, is an Artistic house of production, African arts and culture promotion and social documentary located in Nigeria and the Republic of Benin.
However, here on our page, we shall be posting relevant links, images, news of humanitarian engagements of ALARME PHONE SAHARA to the migrants along the line of Sahara and share information exposing the risk/dangers along the Sahara journey for the consumption of the general public without contradicting or disclaiming the aims to defend the lives and freedom of movement of migrants and refugees.
Come along with us....
