🇧🇬 XXIII Черноморски събор ЕВРО ФОЛК 2026

На 4 и 5 септември Лятната сцена в Приморско ще събере изпълнители и състави от 5 държави за две вечери, посветени на музиката, танците и фолклорните традиции.

✨ ЕВРО ФОЛК вече 23 издания събира поколения, култури и фолклорни традиции, превръщайки българското Черноморие в място за среща на изпълнители и публика.

🇬🇧 XXIII Black Sea Folklore Gathering EURO FOLK 2026

On 4 and 5 September, the Summer Stage in Primorsko will welcome performers and ensembles from 5 countries for two evenings dedicated to music, dance and folklore traditions.

✨ For 23 editions, EURO FOLK has brought together generations, cultures and traditions, turning the Bulgarian Black Sea coast into a meeting place for performers and audiences.

Днес започва 16 издание на Световния шампионат по фолклор 👀
Очакваме ви!

More than 1,000 participants from Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Israel, India and Indonesia will take part in the XVI World Championship of Folklore “World Folk 2026”, held from 26 to 30 August on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Solo performers, vocal groups and dance ensembles will present the folklore traditions of their countries within the international forum.

The competition programme will take place on 28 and 29 August at the Arena Amphitheatre in Sveti Vlas. On both days, performances will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 10:00 p.m., with participants competing in 9 categories and 2 age groups.

The official opening of the XVI World Championship of Folklore will take place on 28 August at 7:30 p.m. at the Arena Amphitheatre.

On 29 August at 10:00 a.m., the Meeting of Nations under the motto “Friends in Diversity” will bring together representatives of the participating countries and highlight cultural exchange and friendship through the art of folklore.

The event is organised by Euro Folk Academy and hosted by the Sunny Beach resort complex, Nessebar Municipality, Sveti Vlas City Hall and Dinevi Group. The championship is held under the auspices of the European Association of Folklore Festivals (EAFF) – an accredited organisation in consultative relations with UNESCO in the field of intangible cultural heritage.

The best groups and solo performers will be awarded diplomas, bronze, silver and gold medals, special prizes and nominations for the Grand Prize “Golden Orpheus”. One of the ensembles will also receive the Award of the Mayor of Nessebar Municipality. The Grand Prize “Golden Orpheus” and the title “Absolute World Champion of Folklore 2026” are accompanied by a cash prize of EUR 1,000, provided by the organisers.

The culmination of the forum will be the official award ceremony and closing on 29 August at 9:40 p.m. at the Arena Amphitheatre in Sveti Vlas, when the new Absolute World Champion of Folklore for 2026 will also be announced.

Memories from World Championship of Folklore WORLD FOLK 2025 🌍

Last year we celebrated folklore with participants from 🇬🇪 Georgia, 🇷🇴 Romania, 🇰🇿 Kazakhstan, 🇧🇬 Bulgaria and 🇲🇾 Malaysia.

Now we are looking forward to WORLD FOLK 2026 when we will be welcoming groups from even more different countries 🤫👀
