🌟 And just like that — Frequenza Festival 2026 has written its final note.

“Pursuit of Harmony” closed four extraordinary days of music at Bulgaria Hall in the most spectacular way imaginable. Kevin Zhu and Jing Zhao opened with the luminous tenderness of Glière’s 8 Pieces for Violin and Cello; Barnabás Kelemen, Kevin Zhu, Roman Spitzer, Boris Andrianov and Maria Meerovitch swept us away with the sheer emotional power of Dvořák’s Piano Quintet No.2, Op.81 — and then came the finale. The stage filled with Sergei Nakariakov, Alex Sipiagin, Saar Berger, Matthew Gee, Roland Szentpali, Misha Tsyganov, Boris Andrianov and Stoyan Yankoulov for a Brass Fusion closing, with a couple of nice surprises in the footnotes ✨🎧

To every artist who gave everything on that stage. To every member of the audience who came and shared these moments with us. To Bulgaria Hall for being the perfect home and to for being the perfect host — thank you!

Last night we hosted a little revolution 🪭

“Rebels” — night 3 of Frequenza Festival — was an evening that refused to play by the rules, and we loved every second of it.

Schnittke, Paganini-Brener, Lutosławski, Tonia Ko, Stravinsky, Schnyder, David Taylor and Beethoven — composers that never ceased to burn bridges in order to light their way — brought to life by Jing Zhao, Maria Meerovitch, Alex Sipiagin, Matthew Gee, Roman Spitzer, Saar Berger, Kevin Zhu, Sergei Nakariakov, Roland Szentpali, Barnabás Kelemen, Boris Andrianov and Misha Tsyganov.

One extraordinary evening still to come.

⚡️ Frequenza Festival has officially begun — and delivered every bit of the magic we hoped for!

The Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Felipe Tristán undertook on an extraordinary journey through an evening that had everything with our artists. Barnabás Kelemen, Boris Andrianov and Maria Meerovitch opened with the luminous beauty of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in C major; Sergei Nakariakov dazzled with Arban’s Variations on a theme from Norma (after Bellini); Jing Zhao moved us deeply with Tchaikovsky’s Pezzo Capriccioso; Roman Spitzer brought pure tenderness to Bruch’s Romance for Viola and Orchestra; Kevin Zhu filled the hall with sparks with Bizet/Waxman’s Carmen Fantasy, and Alex Sipiagin and Misha Tsiganov warmed the hall with Wayne Shorter’s Infant Eyes and Cole Porter’s Just One of Those Things✨

This is only Day 1. Three more unforgettable evenings await.

✨ May 8, 9 & 10 — Bulgaria Hall, Sofia.
