Following the conclusion of ASTRY’s 26th Spring Exhibition Season, I have arranged a group exhibition that you are welcome to visit until September 20. The gallery will be open from July 1 to July 10, between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., and again from September 10 onwards.
At other times, I would also be delighted to welcome you by appointment, provided we arrange it at least one day in advance. It will be my pleasure to guide you through ASTRY Gallery and introduce the works of:

As this 26th Spring Exhibition Season at ASTRY Gallery, I hope you share the profound sense of gratitude, fulfilment, and respect that I feel for all of you—our visitors, artists, collectors, members of the media, and everyone who, in one way or another, finds their way to ASTRY Gallery. We are all part of the same community. And because, between the two shores, we work and exist for you and through you.

My heartfelt thanks go to the artists who, regardless of nationality or generation, brought us together through a shared thread of silence, contemplation, artistic integrity, and excellence in painting.

To Lucy McGillis, for “ЗЕМЯ. СЛЪНЦЕСТОЕНЕ” (Earth. Solstice), her first solo exhibition in Bulgaria. The gestures of culture and humanity that art made possible between us will remain beyond measure.

To Maestro Angel Vasev, for the honour of working on “АТЕЛИЕ. ДОМ.” (Studio. Home. Paintings from the Studio, Beyond It, and to This Day, 1979–2026), an exhibition that brought light and nobility to the early days of spring. We look forward to welcoming him again in 2029 to celebrate his 90th birthday.

To Neli Agusheva-Pencheva, for the serenity and quiet mystery she offered through “ПОКОЙ” (Repose), presented during the Easter season.

To Alicia Sancha, Zahari Kamenov, and François Dupuy, united not only by their admiration for Velázquez, but also by the courage to reveal their emotions and share them with us. In doing so, they drew us closer to the great continuum of art history—and, ultimately, to life itself. In return, they became part of ASTRY Gallery and of Sofia through “Веласкес, Алисия, Захари, Франсоа и аз” (Velázquez, Alicia, Zahari, François and Me), leaving as friends.

Finally, to “ПРИЯТЕЛИТЕ от Умбрия до Париж през Нормандия в София” (Friends – From Umbria to Paris via Normandy, in Sofia) - Lucy MakGILLIS, Jean_Daniel BOUVARD, Ramzi GHOTBALDIN, Philippe VASSEUR, Albert HADJIGANEV , who returned to Bulgaria for their second exhibition, bringing pages from their travel journals and sketchbooks—the most intimate records of an artist’s creative journey.
