The festival offers masterclasses, cello ensembles, lecture discussions, presentations, and workshops. Popov International Cello Festival and Academy is a remarkable musical initiative established during the world pandemic in 2020 by the young Bulgarian cellist Natali Neykova and the Bulgarian photographer, cinematographer, and producer Vassil Karkelanov. ationally renowned cellists, up to 25 active cello students from all over the world, up to 50 passive cello participants, and an unlimited number of online passive participants.
