An exhibition is never just what hangs on the walls. It is what happens between the artworks.
In the historic halls of the Wignacourt Museum , a group of Bulgarian artists transformed space into narrative — where paintings, objects, and installations speak across rooms and centuries.
Textures echo architecture. Fragments become stories. Silence becomes part of the composition.
At the heart of this project stands Rosen Donchev, together with fellow artists whose works explore memory, place, and the fragile line between past and present. Each piece is not isolated — it belongs to a larger visual conversation shaped by Malta’s history and the artists’ personal languages.
This is The Road to an Exhibition — a living process, not a final statement.
We captured the moments, the details, and the atmosphere so you can step inside this journey yourself.

Some exhibitions ask to be seen. This one asks to be felt.
