Memoria di Zoagli — “Una storia di Sergio”🩵
Voor dit werk liet ik me inspireren door de kustlijn van Zoagli en het helder azuurblauwe water van de Ligurische zee. In de sculptuur werd een subtiele golf verwerkt, als verwijzing naar de voortdurende beweging van de zee.
De vorm van het werk ontstond rond een oude zeegraswortel die mijn papa al wandelend vond op het strand van Zoagli. Een aangespoeld stukje natuur, gevormd door tijd, zout en stroming. Zo uniek in vorm en daarom vereeuwigd in dit werk.

Memoria di Zoagli — “Una storia di Sergio” 🩵
For this work, I drew inspiration from the coastline of Zoagli and the bright azure waters of the Ligurian Sea. A subtle wave was incorporated into the sculpture, referring to the sea’s endless movement.
The shape of the piece was built around an old seagrass root my father found while walking along the beach of Zoagli. A washed-up fragment of nature, shaped by time, salt, and currents. Unique in form, and therefore immortalized in this work.

Per questa scultura mi sono lasciata ispirare dalla costa di Zoagli e dalle limpide acque azzurre del Mar Ligure. Nella forma è stata incorporata una sottile onda, come richiamo al movimento continuo del mare.
La scultura è nata attorno a un’antica radice di posidonia che mio padre ha trovato passeggiando sulla spiaggia di Zoagli. Un frammento di natura portato a riva, modellato dal tempo, dal sale e dalle correnti. Così unico nella sua forma da essere immortalato in questa creazione.
