Happy Lunar Eclipse.

Said I'd share some more original music this Feb, and if Feb was a non-weird month, it'd still be Feb right now so I'm considering this eclipse the 30th/31st of Feb to put this up 🙃

Today I'm reigniting my "Artifacts" project from last year (organized into my Highlights), a once (or more) weekly share of projects of mine - of any sort - from anytime in the past. I'll be making up for cutting it short last year, and there will be work including but also beyond techno/rave.

This clip is actually from today, so not an artifact, but it is nostalgic because it captures how I came up with 90% of my earliest music, which I began making as a teenager: randomly playing around on my keyboard (a Triton LE back then), not worrying about perfection, and getting lost in the notes. I also feel like I came up with a lot of stuff on showroom pianos/keyboards like this one, and it was so stressful when you didn't have something to record the idea with.

Fun year ahead, more soon (plus new original stuff from the present too ofc) ⚡️
