On International Mother Language Day,
Kavyik School of Arts pays tribute to the martyrs of the Bengali Language Movement.

In 1952, when Bangla was denied recognition in East Pakistan, brave students took to the streets demanding the right to speak their mother tongue. They faced bullets with courage—and their sacrifice gave Bangla its rightful dignity.

Language is identity. Language is resistance. Language is art.

We remember the martyrs of ’52 with gratitude and pride.

Their voices still echo in every poem, every stage, every song of Bangladesh.
