Assalamu Walaikum,

With a heavy heart, we have to disclose that ANIMEET CARNIVAL: Renewed Spirit will not be happening due to multitude of reasons including: Differences in Vision, Conflict of Interest and Internal Disagreements within the Core Organizing Panel. The one thing that the individual members of the Organizing Panel could agree on, was that if they can't organize a good, well-suited event meant for everyone, they might as well not do it at all. Therefore, all members of the Organizing Panel has effectively resigned and has decided to move on from the Project.

The refund processes will begin shortly and to all the people invested in the event, we're deeply sorry. If we can't commit to providing the best for you, we're better off not doing it at all.

Shortlisted cosplayers will be announced one week before the event and will receive:

🥇 1st Place: 25,000 BDT + Crest + Certificate
🥈 2nd Place: 15,000 BDT + Crest + Certificate

3️⃣ Shortlisting Criteria 📋

A select number of cosplayers will be shortlisted based on:

⭕ Cosplay Source: Anime, anime-style games (e.g., Genshin Impact, Persona 5), or games with Japanese/Asian settings (e.g., Ghost of Tsushima)
⭕ Character Slot: First come, first served; no duplicate characters to ensure a diverse lineup
⭕ Work-in-Progress (WIP): Submit a PDF documenting your cosplay (character details, materials, process, timeline, etc.)
