My Rating: 9.5 out of 10, This might be one of the best action fill chapters from Oda. Go read it dammit!

Start the analysis ⬇️
Before we begin, let’s go over the Cover Story. This one being very special in ways!
Shanks, young Luffy cooking & eating fish. This is a parallel to chapter 1 of the story, with luffy going to actual fish market in his village to buy some fish.
Oda could be indicating, Luffy saved these fish to cook & eat with shanks, once he returned back. So this cover story could be canon in a way.
Beginning,
We then go on to see Scopper, continues to block imu axe attack.
It’s very similar to Ray blocking Kizaru Ama no Murakumo sword back in Sabody.
After the blocking, you then see Scopper project his attack to chop up the branch, that Luffy is attached to with such finesse.
I believe Oda is projecting like a Lumberjack like counterpart to Scopper.
Lumberjacks known for logging and using axes.
Finally, Scopper sees clear visual image of imu and but he does one of the most coldest things, that character can do. Turned his back on imu and went to Luffy!!
This is homage to when luffy walk pass Kaido and Big mom, with his back to them.
Scopper then proceeds to give Luffy a major scolding, while holding him by the jaw.
It’s about him taking this s**t seriously & putting everything into this battle. If he don’t he will lose everything & everyone.
Just know this not the first time, Luffy had be given a scolding, pep talk & to be grab by his jaw/neck. Was by his now crewmate, Jinbei on Amazon lily.
This is something that Luffy needed, he truly needed to be told to stop fu***ng around & get his head in the game.
If not, get out of the way of those that are fighting to see a future with their love ones & to see their island safe!!
Scopper threw him out of the way, very similar to KIZARU at marineford, when he kick Luffy out of the way. But guess who caught him? WHITEBEARD & he regain resolve & strength!!! Luffy will do it here again.
That’s when the real battle begins!!! Mountain Eater vs Demon King Of The World.
Scopper comes in like sonic the hedgehog and does a Praying Mantis axe style!!!
This based off Chinese Martial Arts. Being Northern Praying Mantis style & The Southern Praying Mantis style.
Soon we’re shown another world weapon!! aka celestial dragon ancestor heirloom. Called Honebami Toshiro the Bone eater!!!!
What’s truly interesting about this, is that fact it’s known as the bone eater and also the name Toshiro has “Ro” like Nusjuro “Ro” and His yokai form is Bone/Skelton Horse.
I believe this sword is the actual Ethanbaron family heirloom.
We get full confirmation from Scopper knows about Joyboy obviously. Him mentioning of the crew he was part of & etc.
That Luffy is the one, they all been waiting for. From this yall, I think it’s possible Joyboy knew Roger pirates will arrive on laughtale, but knowing they come to early.
But, him knowing they will be the ones that inspire & actually influence the one, that will bring the dawn, that being Monkey D Luffy!!
After imu heard this, he goes to target Luffy once again. But we then is presented with another new type of haki from Scopper!
This is the third time we have seen something like this. First from shanks stopping GB & sec from Joyboy with the haki knot.
I won’t get into major details, plan on making a big theory on this later on. But for now I will say Scopper is fusing Adv Armament,Adv Observation & Adv Conquerors into one, to create new sentient type of haki.
After that, he goes in with 800 slash attack. But literally out of nowhere, imu summons like force field barrier!!!
In Game called One Piece Fighting path, Mihawk is able to summon a literal Force field/Barrier!!!!
Not coincidence yall.
Last,
We soon see the aftermath of this battle and our Scopper is lying down on the branch, with his bloody limb that is no longer attached to himself. 😔
With Luffy giving off a shocking look that’s similar to shanks losing his arm and Ace losing his life in front of him.
What will his next move truly be!!?
