To all the amazing moms in the world! 💐

As Sophocles said, "Children are the anchors that hold a mother to life."

To every mother who has the superpower to make hard things look easy and the ones who are always there for children throughout every mess of every win of their lives, those who never fail to make the world a little brighter every day, we wish you a happy mother’s day.

This day is a celebration and appreciation for all of their hard work they do everyday, most of which remain unseen to the world.

We see you, love you, and thank you with all of our hearts. Keep shining, moms!✨

On the birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore, we celebrate him and his words which continued to touch hearts across generations.
Tagore is a unique figure in the cultural world, combining poetry, music and philosophy to express the most subtle aspects of human experience. Though he may go down in history as the first non-European to win a Nobel Prize, he was also an inspiring reformer who hoped to destroy the “narrow domestic walls” that separate humanity. His mellifluous Rabindra Sangeet and his creative work at Shantiniketan have helped him to spread the message that education and art should be practiced in association with nature
On his birthday, we don't just honor a literary genius, but also a soul who taught the world compassion, creativity, and freedom of thought.

On 30th April,2026, BRAC University Art & Photography society organized an Orientation Program to mark the start of an exciting journey for our newest members.

The event was presented by our excellent panel and talented members. The evening and every moment onwards was filled with delightful songs by the existing club members, leading up to a superbly performed dance to welcome our new members who joined our club to experience creative arts, activities and memory with us and our ambitions.

The event became more special as our freshmen had the privilege of listening to our former panel members took out their time to attend the orientation. Their presence was a wonderful gift to this occasion. We are extremely grateful for the foundation of the paths they have created on which we stand today.

We welcome everyone to a new beginning and hope that we will be able to continue upon this journey of creativity and artistic expressions of all forma with all of BUAPS!

"No one except the Director knows what the film is about."
-Satyajit Ray

Remembering the legend: birthday of one of the most significant and one of the most influential movie makers 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐲𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐭 𝐑𝐚𝐲.

Ray was an imaginative screenwriter, novelist, illustrator, calligrapher, music composer whose narration spoke to the soul of India in a manner that was very human and beautiful. His contribution to both the film and literature is immortal. His 'Apu's Trilogy' won so many hearts of film lovers. He created our favorite and iconic figures, Feluda and the scientist Professor Shonku, which is still popular with generations of young readers.

We should enjoy the birthday of this legend by rewatching his movies, reading his novels or listening to the beautiful music which he composed and won our hearts.

Today we celebrate the birth, enlightenment, and the death of Siddhatha Gautama.

As we celebrate his extraordinary life, we also remember his teachings of compassion and kindness towards all living beings, understanding the nature of life through wisdom, avoiding harm of mind and body, and the balance of life.

Happy Buddha Purnima to those who celebrate. Hope you to have a life filled with serenity and joy.

BRAC University Art and Photography society is celebrating 90th birthday of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed, the Mastermind and founder behind BRAC.

His contribution started with the determination to serve humanity in 1970 cyclone. which grew into one of the world’s largest organizations, transforming the lives of millions through educational programs, healthcare services and women empowerment initiatives.

Sir Abed received multiple awards from national and international organizations because of his work in social development and he was included in Fortune's List of the World's 50 Greatest Leaders.

Brac University Art and Photography Society remembers him today with great respect and gratitude. May he always have a smile on his face as he rests in God's loving arms.

এসেছে বাংলা নতুন বছর
জীবন রঙিন হোক শুভ্র এবং আলতার ছোঁয়ায়...

পহেলা বৈশাখ মানেই তো শুধু একটি তারিখ নয়, এটি বাঙালির অস্তিত্বের শেকড়। সেই ভোরের সানাইয়ের সুর, রমনার বটমূলের ভিড়, লাল-সাদার মিতালী আর পান্তা-ইলিশের স্বাদ.. সব মিলিয়ে এ যেন এক প্রাণের মেলা। গত বছরের সব পাওয়া-না পাওয়া, দুঃখ-বেদনাকে ভুলে আজ নতুন করে বাঁচার শপথ নেওয়ার দিন।

১৫ ও ১৬ই এপ্রিল, ব্রাক ইউনির্ভাসিটি রঙিত হয়েছিলো রঙিন আলপনায় এবং সুখের আমেজে।
গ্রীষ্মের উষ্ণতায়, বাঁশির সুরে, ঢাক-ঢোলে,
শাড়িতে-পাঞ্জাবিতে, আনন্দে আয়োজিত "বর্ষবরণ ১৪৩৩"

এই নতুন বছরে আপনি এবং আপনার প্রিয়জনদের জীবনে আর্শীবাদ হয়ে আসুক শারীরিক সুস্থতা, মানসিক শান্তি এবং আনন্দ।
