An evening steeped in imagination. AUW Theatre Club at Ladyland by HerStory Foundation Our Executive Board and General Members had the pleasure of attending this striking production, drawn from the enduring vision of Begum Rokeya’s “Sultana’s Dream”, a world reimagined decades ahead of its time. There is something quietly powerful about watching a story like this performed live: the imagination of a feminist utopia, staged with such care and conviction. We left inspired. The auditions for our club’s upcoming performance are officially open!

We are looking for passionate and talented actors to bring our next production to life.

Written by Ramisa Maliyat, Afra Nawar Rahman, Dhushanthi Balakrishnan, and Zahra Jafari, this performance is an ethnographic and verbatim-inspired play based on the lived experiences of Rohingya communities.
