The stated objective of Illusions Entertainment is to elevate the awareness of, and grow the appreciation for Electronic Dance Music (EDM) (House, Dance, Trance etc.) Ably assisted by the phenomenal success of the many former club DJ’s who have made significant inroads into the global pop music scene, the local following has grown from a small number of DJ’s and hard-core house music lovers to a much more mainstream crowd. The local EDM scene now boasts regular events featuring international DJ’s from New York, Miami, London, Spain, etc., whose resumes include gigs at well-known clubs such as Pacha, Cielo, Nikki Beach, Ministry of Sound and others. The Illusions events have drawn an enthusiastic following from the outset, with the first few having been staged in vacant warehouses which were transformed into stylish club settings, complete with laser lighting, chic décor and lots of beautiful people. More recently, Illusions has teamed up with major international brands such as Reef Swimwear, Malibu Caribbean Rum and Absolut Vodka to stage hugely successful beach and club parties, with attendance ranging from a few hundred to over a thousand guests. Illusions Entertainment has now become the undisputed leader and driving force behind the Electronic and Dance movement on the island and the brand that will shape its direction in the coming years.
