yesterday we presented a concept that reminded me just how much it means to find out as much as you can about what your client loves, how they intend to use spaces, small things that make their soul sing. the deck presented was hands down my favourite that I’ve done in a long time, and i have two projects following, albeit smaller, that i feel deeply connected to with briefs that match exactly where I envision my design style growing into - just as i did with this one. a reminder that when you collectively work with the client towards a vision for their space, it is so well received which in turn is by far the biggest compliment a designer can receive. this home will come to fruition in 2028, and we can’t wait to share when she’s all complete.

a little rethinking goes a long way ✨
once a heavy storage cabinet that doubled as an under utilized buffet, with an outdated mirror and a very dark cast in this space is now a multitasking moment; smaller storage (because on vacation who needs all that closed cabinetry) + desk + added seating + simple open shelving - all wrapped in lighter, coastal inspired finishes and bringing a lighter feel to this entire room. Functional, fresh, and far easier on the eyes 🌴🤍
