As a child I loved drawing and painting and spent lots of time looking at books and magazines of paintings by well known artists which my mother had collected over many years. I even tried to copy some of these famous paintings and attempted paintings of our lovely garden. I started with little expectation of having any tal

ent and I am happy that my family and friends supported and encouraged me as my skills developed. I hope people visiting this page will enjoy looking at my works and I would be delighted if someone looks at my paintings and thinks that if a busy mother can produce such work, they may also try to paint and experience the uncertainties,( and hard work!), but ultimately the joys of creating a painting.
