MEET CHELSEA.

The producer of One One Fleurieu, the flagship event of the Festival Fleurieu youth program. She wants to hear from you.

If you are interested in being a part of shaping a major projection project during the Festival Fleurieu contact her directly on our Instagram or page, or email her at [email protected]. She'll keep you up to date on where the project is at.

The dates for the first of three workshops in Goolwa, Victor Harbor and Yankalilla are Friday 12th, Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th of February.

MEET ALYSHA AND NIC.

Co-founders of Part of Things, long-term creative collaborators and all-round amazing humans. They want to work with you on an upcoming project all about you.

With their support and mentorship a body of work incorporating all your voices will be created and shown in Goolwa, Yankalilla and Victor Harbour during the Festival Fleurieu in April 2021. This project will evolve as you want it to, Alysha and Nic are here to facilitate your vision.

With the funding support of Carclew, Festival Fleurieu is excited to present One One Fleurieu, the flagship youth event of the festival's 2021 program. 14 - 25 year olds make up 11% of the Alexandrina, Victor Harbour and Yankalilla district communities, and through various art media One One Fleurieu will be raising the voices of 11% in Festival Fleurieu 2021.

If you’re from the Alexandria, Victor Harbor or Yankalilla Council districts, aged between 14 - 25 and interested in any form of art (illustration, animating, writing, digital media, performing - we mean any) then this is the project for you.

Halloween Boo-Night Disco

The City of Victor Harbor Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) are happy to announce the Halloween Boo-Night Disco to be held in the Victor Harbor Recreation Centre, 5 George Main Road, Victor Harbor on Saturday, 31 October 8.30pm – 10.30pm.
The disco is for young people aged 11 to 18 years.

The drug and alcohol free event will again be in a safe, monitored environment with Council Staff and YAC volunteers creating a night filled with Halloween themed fun, where young people dress up, dance, catch up and have a fantastic night.

There will be prizes for the scariest, funniest and most imaginative costumes, refreshments, giveaways and great music are on offer. So get those costumes designed and your best dancing moves ready and don't miss out. This will be a great night out for all young people aged 11 to 18.
DJ Roxy will be cranking the tunes and there will be heaps of fun giveaways throughout the night.

Parents please note the Halloween Boo-Night Disco is a LOCK IN event so we will need parents to drop off and pick you up at the DOOR. We will have several Covid-19 Marshalls at the event and will require Names and contact Numbers at the door for contact tracing purposes

This event is an alcohol and drug free event for the young people of the Region. Entry fee is $5 and tickets are to be sold at the door. A canteen is available to purchase drinks, chips and chocolates.

Nunga Screen 2020- Yankalilla is on Tuesday 10 November at 7pm at Club Fleurieu. Nunga Screen, held annually during National Reconciliation Week, is a FREE short film showcase that shares and celebrates Aboriginal culture, stories and language, through the diversity of Indigenous film culture.
