Looking back at these fantastic memories from last year's Bayside Spring Festival has us even more excited for what's to come! 🎉

We're thrilled to be bringing the festival back to the Bayside from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September 2026, and this year, it's bigger and better than ever with three days of family fun, live entertainment, delicious food, markets and community celebrations.

Proudly presented in partnership with Wynnum Commerce Inc., the team has been working hard behind the scenes to create another unforgettable festival for our community.

🌸 It's back... and bigger than ever! 🌸

The Bayside Spring Festival is returning to the Bayside from 11–13 September 2026, and this year we're expanding to three days! 🎉
After such a fantastic response to last year's festival, we're bringing you even more entertainment, family fun, live performances, food, markets and community spirit.

🌼 Sunday will hold our much-loved Community Day, packed with free activities, local community groups, entertainment and plenty of fun for the whole family.

Save the date now and keep an eye on Councillor Alex Givney and the 2026 Bayside Spring Festival over the coming weeks as we reveal everything we have planned. The team and committee are hustling behind the scenes and trust me... you won't want to miss it! 💙💛

Thanks for joining us at Bayside Spring Festival 🌸🌸🌸

💨 To say I’m pooped is an understatement! Since Friday morning I’ve clocked over 38 hours, and these two legends, Lisa and Simone, aren’t far behind me. A huge shout-out to them for their incredible help, and also to Toni, who wasn’t here this weekend but has put in crazy hours over the past few months to make this event a success. 🙌

✨ What a weekend!
• Over 500 people joined us on Friday night for Brisbane Festival 🎶
• Around 5000 people came through yesterday and last night for the Bayside Spring Festival 🎉

It’s always hard to predict crowd numbers, but we’ve learnt a lot and are already planning for next year:
✅ More free jumping castles
✅ More food trucks
✅ More face painters
✅ More rides for older kids
🤔 …and maybe even bringing back the parade in 2027!

🍿 We also gave away over 700 free bags of popcorn thanks to our brand-new machine (which got a serious workout). Huge thanks to Xavier, Charlotte, Audrey and Charlie for helping serve! This popcorn machine is available for community groups to borrow – just email our office if you’d like to use it.

Over the coming weeks, our team will debrief to make sure next year is even better. I’ll also be sharing thanks to the many dedicated committee members, volunteers and sponsors who made this possible ❤️.

For now, it’s back to the office to unload everything before heading up to the hospital to see Ben.

I’m truly grateful to everyone who came along and supported our first Spring Festival since 2011. What a relief – and what a success! 🌸🎆
