is supporting the 2026 Next Level Creative Mentorship program!
Led by in partnership with , this exciting program supports writers, musicians, dancers, choreographers, actors, directors and producers with disability or who are d/Deaf.
Ten artists with disability working in the performing arts will be provided with $3000 in project funding and access to a professional mentorship to develop an innovative new project.
Alongside ten other leading arts organisations across NSW, SA, NT and the ACT, Merrigong will mentor a selected artist with disability or who is d/Deaf to develop a project concept brief and prepare it for effective pitches to relevant companies, venues, artistic directors and producers.

THE SEVEN by The Strangeways Ensemble 21-29 November Wollongong Town Hall…thanks for the write up ABC Illawarra!

Did you know The Strangeways Ensemble is Wollongong's only professional theatre company?

Their next show is called The Seven and it opens next Saturday at Wollongong Town Hall.

The story starts when seven friends are travelling back from Sydney to Wollongong after seeing a concert. An incident on the train forces them off at Helensburgh station and when they miss the last train for the night, they try and hitch a ride home.

Catch them on ABC Illawarra Drive this afternoon 97.3FM.
