🍀 TWO DAYS TO GO — COME FOR THE MUSIC, STAY FOR THE HOSPITALITY! 🍀

This Saturday, the doors of my beloved Globe Theatre open for an evening of Celtic music, dancing, food and friendship.

Celts of the Colony will take us on a journey through a thousand years of Irish and Scottish tradition with Céad Míle Fáilte — One Hundred Thousand Welcomes. Before the concert, you can join the Scottish Country Dance Workshop at 4pm, with combination tickets available.

But what we're particularly looking forward to is the hospitality. There’s something special about gathering together in a beautiful old country theatre, sharing music and stories, and then sitting down together over a light gluten-free supper included in your concert ticket.

It’s an evening designed to be warm, relaxed and welcoming — a proper country welcome for the whole family. School students are free.

FROM THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR 🌷🍀
A little personal update from me as we head into another Winchelsea Music Season event this Saturday. ❤️

For me, this is about so much more than putting on concerts. Through Rural Arts Victoria, I’m trying to build something lasting in our region — creating paid opportunities for artists, bringing wonderful music and new experiences closer to home, activating our beautiful heritage buildings and giving our community reasons to come together.

This Saturday at the Globe, we’ll have Celts of the Colony, a Scottish Country Dance Workshop, a community supper and, hopefully, plenty of Celtic craic! It’s exactly the kind of warm, accessible regional arts experience I believe in — high-quality, welcoming and for everyone.

But projects like this only happen because people choose to support them. Every ticket bought, friend brought along, volunteer hour, share, sponsorship or word of encouragement helps us keep building.

So if you’ve been meaning to come along to a Winchelsea Music Season event, this is your invitation! Come and experience what we’re creating — and help us make sure there are many more to come.

🍀 THREE DAYS TO GO — A CELTIC EVENING AT THE GLOBE! 🍀

This Saturday, we’re throwing open the doors of Winchelsea’s beautiful historic Globe Theatre for an evening of music, dancing, good food and good company — with a little country hospitality thrown in.

🎻 Celts of the Colony present Céad Míle Fáilte — One Hundred Thousand Welcomes, bringing a thousand years of Irish and Scottish musical tradition to the Globe, from ancient melodies and Gaelic songs to lively traditional tunes, stories and rousing ballads.

💃 Come early and join the fun! At 4pm, there’s a Scottish Country Dance Workshop — no experience necessary. Combination tickets are available for the workshop and concert.

🍽️ And after all that dancing and music, settle in and enjoy a light gluten-free community supper, included in your concert ticket. There’s something particularly lovely about sharing food around a table in a heritage building — it’s the kind of hospitality we love about regional communities.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 An evening for the whole family — and school students are free.
