Happy Valentines/Galentineā€™s Day! šŸ©·ā¤ļøšŸ§”šŸ’›šŸ’ššŸ©µšŸ’™šŸ’œAn attempt at self portraitā€¦ Iā€™m not sure who she is but she looks ok! šŸ¤£
Acrylics using palette knives, fingers and limited brush. Lots of thick paint and texturesā€¦ getting depth into a face especially the nose is tricky but Iā€™ve had fun and enjoyed the challenge. šŸ˜
I swear if I stuck to a style Iā€™d be a pro lol šŸ˜£ what r you going to see next??? Flowers, landscape, seascape, abstract, facesā€¦ who knowsā€¦! ? Let me know what you think I should paint nextā€¦

Letā€™s jump into some fun in 2026!
Couldnā€™t think what to paint yesterday so my hubby gave me the idea to paint the jetty at Busselton where we have such fun with our kids each yearā€¦ This year both our boys jumped off the top railings showing they are up for a challenge, determined, brave, willing and capable of scary things! With joy, fun and excitement weā€™re hoping that they both are ready to face this new year with all those attributes and more! Iā€™ve printed it onto a little card with a special note eachā€¦

Sneak peak of Speakeasy Salā€¦ as a self taught artist who likes to experiment I think you might find what I post to be completely random but this is how my mind rollsā€¦ šŸ¤Ŗ
Sometimes itā€™s all about the blossoms and bloomsā€¦ sometimes the colour movement, sometimes an attempt at a realistic portrait and this time a study on colours and face shading in a very non realistic yet somehow haunting got her eye on you vibeā€¦ Enjoy this snippet šŸ˜ more to followā€¦
