She takes great pride in her heritage as a descendant of the Peek and Kirrae Whurrong clans. For Bayley, practicing and sharing her culture through art and storytelling holds immense significance for herself, her family, and her community. A big thank you to Balwyn Primary School for having me paint this artwork on their tank 🧡

The story was created with their wonderful student leaders & I’m so glad I was able to bring their ideas to life.

I have some availability for murals later in the year (October-December), if you would like to get in touch please email [email protected]

I am so excited to share this special collaboration with the and for Sir Doug Nicholls Round!

This artwork celebrates the deep connection between football, family, and community.

Some of my earliest memories are from growing up at the local footy club - running around the boundary line, hearing the siren, and being surrounded by people who felt like family. Footy was our meeting place.

This design is a tribute to family, community, and the spirit of football that brings us all together.

Thanks again to the AFL and Sherrin for this incredible opportunity.

The footy’s are available to buy online or in store (Rebel Sports).

This month marks 3 years since becoming a full time artist, and not for a split second have I doubted that decision.

One of the most common questions I get as an artist is what advice I’d give. To keep it simple, practice is what makes you better, and sharing your work online is what helps you grow. Keep showing up, keep creating, and trust that it’ll all build over time 🫶🏽

A bit of work, life & farm balance over the last 2 months 🧡

A few personal commissions, a mural, another amazing shorts pre-order, beach walks, workshops, lots of prints ordered, new NAIDOC artwork & time in the studio.

What’s coming up? I am in the process of moving into my new house & I can’t wait to show you all the progress of moving, renovating & most importantly - making sure the house is as colourful as possible.

I have a few projects on the go, but as always, I can’t say much 🤫

Unlike other years, this year has started with lots of murals, which is really exciting!

I’m almost fully booked for the next 4 months too which I am super grateful for.

Big love, MG ###

A new chapter of storytelling. It started with a piece for my partner just before the new year, and has slowly grown into creating these deeply personal works for others. A style that feels really special to create & the perfect gift 🧡
