Winter invites us to slow down As the season changes, many people notice a natural shift inward — a desire for warmth, quiet, and restoration.

Winter can be a gentle reminder that rest is not unproductive; it is an important part of regulation and renewal.

Simple grounding practices like noticing your breath, wrapping yourself in warmth, spending time in nature, or engaging in creative expression can help support the nervous system during colder months.

At Integrated Trauma Therapy, we honour the importance of slowing down and creating space for reflection, connection, and care.

There are parts of ourselves that can only be reached through creativity, curiosity, and gentle reflection.

Pandora’s Box is an immersive workshop experience inviting you to slow down, reconnect, and explore the deeper layers of self through tactile art-making and symbolic expression.

Using words, images, objects and fabrics, you will transform a 3D box into a meaningful reflection of your inner world — a process that supports nervous system regulation, intuition, self-acceptance, and hope.

Join us on 21 June for this unique creative journey.

As the SEP Touch Retreat draws closer, registrations will be closing in just a couple of days.

I’ve been reflecting on how rare it can be for practitioners to step out of the role of supporting others and into a space where they themselves are held.

So much of our work asks us to attune, track, regulate and respond.
This day is an opportunity to soften that orientation — even briefly — and experience what it feels like to simply receive.

The retreat has been created as a restorative day for SEPs, with space for:
🌿 Somatic touch practices
🌿 Nervous system restoration
🌿 Reflection and integration
🌿 Quiet connection with others in the field

There is no agenda of learning more or doing more. Instead, the focus is on slowing down enough to reconnect with yourself, your body, and your own resourcing.

With numbers intentionally kept small to support depth, safety and presence, remaining places are limited and registrations close 29th May.

📅 Saturday June 13th
⏰ 10:00am – 4:00pm
📍 The Michael Centre, Warranwood

If you’ve been noticing the need for pause, replenishment, or simply a day where you don’t need to hold so much — this space was created with that in mind.
