One of the most iconic works in classical music will be performed in Warragul when the Renaissance Revival Orchestra present Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" at the Warragul Anglican Church tomorrow at 2pm.

The concert will bring together acclaimed soloists, early music specialists and a strong local string ensemble for one of the great showpieces of the Baroque era.

Samantha Cohen was drawn to the lute following her studies in Classical Guitar at the VCA. She received numerous awards and grants to further her studies overseas; including a Churchill Fellowship, a scholarship to the Civica Scuola di Musica in Milan and received funding from the Australia Council to study with the legendary lute pedagogue, Pat O’Brien in New York. She is active as a performer of lutes, baroque guitar and theorbo, appearing and recording with local groups including Genesis Baroque, Elysium Ensemble and MBO. She has played with many of Australia’s leading orchestras including The Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Pinchgut Opera, ACO, Orchestra Victoria, MSO, and Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. A career highlight was performing alongside early harp virtuoso, Andrew Lawrence King at the World Harp Congress in Sydney in 2014. Samantha is a founding member of Ludovico’s Band and Melbourne’s Continuo Collective.
