INTRODUCING Andromeda Ensemble

A brand-new collaboration brought to life by Dance4Fitness and The Stellar Company.

"Luminous by Nature - Unstoppable by Choice"

Named after one of the brightest spiral galaxies—and the mythic figure who broke free to claim her place among the stars—Andromeda Ensemble represents mature women stepping out of the shadows and taking center stage with confidence, vitality, and grace.

Sitting low on our northern horizon in Canberra, Andromeda isn't something you just glance at—it takes patience, intention, and quiet confidence to spot its light. Just like our ensemble, our presence isn't about loud demands; it's a built-over-time brilliance that commands attention once you know where to look.

Brought together from our Tuggeranong 55 Plus Club Inc classes and the Weston Creek Community Centre, this ensemble proves that true radiance is light-years in the making—bringing decades of life experience, resilience, and brilliance into a shared presence on stage.

Families bring your little ones along to one of these shows! Sadly my busy bee days are on hold (I’m back on crutches for the week) but my fabulous Bee friends will be ready to dance and educate you all about BEES!!!

You and your little ones are invited to explore the importance of bees for the ecology, biodiversity and our food chain through the magic of movement and music with The Stellar Company Chamaeleon Collective. 👯‍♀️

My Movement4Memory classes include some basic ballet barre exercises along with fun choreography and use of props (hats, canes, feather fans). Many of my participants have felt the direct same benefits that this post reference. More confidence with balance, stronger leg strength and they have built a fabulous social circle too.

Introducing Andrea as the newest member of our Dance 4 Fitness team.
Susan & Andrea started dancing together at Bodyjam classes many years ago and have most recently performed together as part of the ensemble of Liz Lea’s production Diamond.
You can now find them team teaching at St Vincent's Primary School Aranda each Tuesday working on a whole school dance spectacular!
