It’ll be warming up soon, so the thought of a snowman can only mean one thing… Christmas! ☃️🎄

A scary thought for some, an exciting one for others — especially those of you who’ve been given the job of organising the team/group Christmas party! 😅

I’m particularly excited because I’ll be creating some wonderfully festive new themes for my Christmas Paint & Sip parties this year. 🎨✨

Another gorgeous group - because there’s nothing quite like celebrating a birthday AND Christmas all in one night!🥳 And another very cute herd! Yes, my gorgeous cow came to life again last night and was given all the love, colour and personality she deserved! I absolutely love seeing how differently everyone interprets the same painting. No two cows are ever quite the same! Such a fun night with a fabulous crew! Thanks everyone for bringing the laughter, the creativity and the joy! 🤩 🎨
Oh, and we got a sneak preview of the Curious Curation grand opening exhibition which officially opens tomorrow!

What happens when you ask 30 women to paint a cow? 🐮

You get one sensational-looking herd!! 😂🥰😎

Yesterday, Paint & Sip with Tanya hit the road to The Rock Memorial Bowling Club, where this fabulous bunch of women came together to support Emma Kay and her fundraising efforts for this year’s Wagga Wagga Takes 2.

And what an afternoon it was! Thirty canvases, thirty cows and absolutely no two alike — just the way I love it! There were some VERY distinct personalities in this herd. 😂🐮

Emma, you are an absolute force! Your chosen charity, BLOSS, is incredibly lucky to have you working so hard throughout the year, organising events and raising thousands of much-needed dollars to support the invaluable work they do in our community.

Wishing you all the very best for the final stretch of fundraising, Emma, before the big finale — Wagga Wagga Takes 2, from 1–3 October!

I can’t wait to see the performance! 💃🎤

I’m so honoured to be the artist facilitator for this very special event, raising funds for BLOSS Riverina, an organisation supporting mothers and families who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a child.

This cause is deeply personal to me. My mother lost her first child in infancy, and that grief has stayed with her throughout her life. I often wonder how different her journey might have been with the support BLOSS Riverina provides today.

It makes being part of this event feel especially meaningful to me. Through creativity and community, we’ll be coming together not only to raise funds, but to support an organisation helping families navigate a grief that no parent should ever have to face alone. ❤️

The event is one of the fund raising activities by Emma Kay & Amber-Rose Walker singing for Bloss in 2026 WWT2 as part of the Wagga Takes2 2026 event.

I know, I know, I know... it's definitely not Christmas yet! 🎄😂

BUT... it is time to start thinking about how you and your friends, family or work colleagues want to celebrate this year.

If you're looking for something a little more memorable than just gathering at the pub, why not book a Paint & Sip workshop? It's the perfect excuse to get creative, have a few laughs, and head home with something you've actually made.

You can choose a theme from my website (I'm still adding to the collection, so bear with me! 😊), suggest something you've always wanted to paint, or I can create a custom theme just for your group. You could even paint each other if you're feeling brave! 😄

Whether it's a Christmas party, end-of-year team celebration, family get-together or friends' catch-up, I'd love to help you create something fun and a little different.

Today I shared this painting with a wonderful group at The Haven in Wagga.

One of the ladies in the group had just celebrated her 100th birthday. She began the session very hesitantly, quietly saying she wasn’t sure she could do it. But her confidence grew and before long she was making her own creative choices, adding her own touches, and simply enjoying the process.

Watching that transformation reminded me why I love what I do. It’s never really about the painting. It’s about the smiles, the confidence, the conversations, and discovering that creativity doesn’t have an age limit.

Every workshop reminds me that we’re all capable of creating something beautiful if someone simply believes we can.

Thank you to everyone at The Haven for making me feel so welcome - again!.
