All the Good Stuff!!! 😃Thank you to the Event Crew for another year of a great event.
Thank you to every child who came into our site for a face paint and or tattoo. Hulk, Unicorns, Butterflies and Foxes were the main designs asked for by the kids.
Tanya and I were kept busy all day long. Thank you to the carers of the children for your patience, the seating on the bench was a great success for the lineup waiting.
All the Bad stuff!!!😞 FLIES!!!! 😡🫣🤦🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰 Constant and annoying, in your face 🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
Trust me, we were as annoyed as the public. 🤦😆🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
Frustrations were running high, sorry for the occasional tone of voice being a bit too firm at times while painting.
We do not normally get phased with anything, it's otherwise smiles, laughs, and chat with the mums. Honestly I was reluctant to open my mouth for fear of swallowing a fly or two😆🤣😆Blame the flies 😆🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰
Flies in your face, hopelessly swiping them away from the child's face too, it was horrendous 😡🪰😆 Remember! We are sitting there for hours,in a hot marquee, painting over 100 kids.
I've never seen anything like it in the 5 years of attending the event. Sure! We cannot control the flies, even with spray....they just kept coming. I hope this is not a sign of the coming Summer days in extreme heat🪰🪰🪰
