️⛅ WEATHER:
Sunny. It’s a good idea to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide. Best to dress for the weather conditions on the day, and come down ready to support the local groups, performers and stallholders!

🪑 WHAT TO BRING:
Picnic blankets and/or camping chairs. And your best made EASTER HAT for the special parade!

🅿️🚕 TRAVEL
This is a local event for the local community so we encourage attendees to walk/scooter/bike to the event area. There is limited car parking on nearby side streets so please use public transport or ride share if active travel is not possible. In the interest of community safety and to avoid parking infringements, please follow the City Parking Signage and Guidelines.

🛑❌ SOCIALS - TICKETS & STREAMING:
It's a FREE EVENT. Tickets are not required and there is no live stream so please be aware of clicking on fake links, or communicating with other user accounts other than the event organiser official account.

Hop into Varsity Lakes 🐇 as we celebrate Easter at Frascott EGGSTRAVAGANZA on Saturday 28th March 2026 from 3pm! 🥚🎉

There are free kids’ activities 🧒, art and crafts 🎨, animal petting zoo 🐤, trackless train 🚂, delicious food 🌯, live entertainment 🎤 and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself 🐰! There will also be an Easter bonnet competition 👒 with Chocolate EGG giveaway 🍫!

And be sure to bring your rug to secure your spot on the grass to watch an Outdoor Movie screening at 6:15pm. 🎬🍿🥤 The event is totally FREE, so head down and enjoy the fun!

It’s all brought to you by Division 11 Councillor Dan Doran – City of Gold Coast, alongside community partners Varsity Lakes Community Resource Centre.

It was so wonderful to see the community come together for a day full of live music, local entertainment, tasty treats, choccy eggs, and fun with family and friends.
