A few weeks ago I joined a little “bag challenge” with a beautiful friend in the UK. My first attempt was sweet, but it didn’t quite feel like me. So, over the last few days I’ve made another version — one that suits my needs, with pockets in all the right places.

The outside fabric is the special part. It came from my late aunty’s stash, and it means the world to me that a tiny piece of her will now be hanging over my shoulder every day. A small reminder of where I come from, stitched into something I’ll use and love.

Big question... did I make enough binding????? It was soooo close..... and oh so heavy!!!
This has been the biggest project I've ever worked on... part of me doesn't want it to end. But equally want to get it on my bed!!
