4500kv GTP any flexi chassis including carbon fibre
Brushless wing car up to 6500kv
Doors will open at 8am and racing will start at 10am

We are looking to introduce 2 new classes of races to our schedule.
1 Can Am retro with a cr102 motor
2 Brushless wing car with any motor up to 11000kv.
Any feedback on these classes would be appreciated.

A big thank you to all the drivers who raced on Saturday. The weather wasnt very kind to us and it was heat wave conditions.
It was good close racing and everyone seemed to have a great day.

At the recent race meeting at RPM Raceways at Hervey Bay , I overheard several people voicing their concerns on the viability of Redline raceway to host major race meetings. I will attempt to address the concerns that I heard.
1 The raceway is too far from an airport.
The raceway is approximately 45 minutes by road from Newcastle airport. Whilst this is a little further than other tracks I dont feel the distance is excessive.
2 There is no Accommodation close to the raceway.
There is a small motel attached to the Vacy Hotel which has accommodation available it is around 3 minutes from the track.
There are two hotels in Paterson which have accommodation around 10 minutes from the track.
There are two large motel complexes on the highway at East Maitland each have a large amount of rooms . These are situated around 25 minutes from the track. There is also the possibility for people with vans etc to park onsite.
3. There are no close places to buy food.
The Vacy General Store is around 3 minutes from the track. It sells a large variety of takeaway food , hamburgers , fish and chips , sandwiches and breadrolls as well as pizza , they also have a courtyard area where they serve sitdown meals.
The Vacy Hotel also located around 3 minutes from the track has a dining room with a large variety of sitdown meals.
There is also a Thai restaurant next door to the hotel which has take away and dine in options.

I hope these answers help alleviate any concerns that people have , but feel free to raise any potential issues that you have and I will do my best to address them.

We will be holding our next race on Sunday 31st January .Doors open at 8am racing will commence at 10am.
We will be racing the following classes.

GP27 L
Depending on the amount of interest we may also be racing 6500kv wing cars.

10th Jan Test and Tune.
We will be having a test and tune day on Saturday 10th January.
The doors open at 12pm. This will be a good opportunity to get your cars ready for our race the next day on Sunday 11th.

Next Race Meeting
I understand that some people think that there is a race meeting this coming Sunday , that is not the case.
The next race meeting will be on Sunday 11th January.
Doors open at 8am and racing will commence at 10am.
We will be racing the following classes:
3200kv Nascars
Hawk 9 LMP
6500kv brushless wing car or group F for people not having a 6500kv car.
This will be our first race for 2026 and we are looking forward to a great year of racing.

Race Results 14/12/2025

On Sunday 14/12/2025 we held the first race meeting on Redline Slotcar Raceway. I would like to thank everyone that came along and helped to make the day a success. We had a good mixture of seasoned drivers , new drivers and some drivers having their first race in many years. It was an extremely hot day , but everyone still got on with it and had a great time. I would also like to thank everyone that helped to set up the track , I wont go into names , but you all know who you are , so a big thank you. I did not hear one negative comment about the track over the entire day , which goes to show what a great job you all did.

For those of you who haven't seen our previous posts I'll fill you in. The track is owned by Aaron and is located in Vacy in the Hunter Valley of NSW Australia. It is a king track that was originally built by Garry Johnson of Slotworx. It still holds the fastest lap for a king track in Australia. Most of the work to get it to this point has been done by Aaron and Wayne Bramble.
Yesterday we had a chance to test the track and lapmaster system with more than the 3 or 4 drivers that we usually have. As we expected we had plenty of teething problems , but that was the reason for the day and overall things went pretty well and seemed happy with the track and the center in general. We held a mock race which was bring whatever cars you have . It gave everyone a feel for the track with different classes of cars. We would like to thank everyone who came along and helped with the test day we hope that you had a good day..
There is still a bit of work to do , including finishing the infield , more wall cladding , lots of painting and improving the pit area. Aaron managed to get a fridge , so we dont need to bring eskies anymore and he got some chairs to save our tired old feet
