Results of Stumpy's Birthday Race

It was another great day of close racing at Redline Raceway on Saturday as we all got together to help Stumpy celebrate his birthday. Once again it was a terrific roll up with large fields in all 3 races. Thank you all for making the effort to come along and make it the great day that it was , we had drivers from as far as Sydney , Bathurst and Taree. Thank you to Dave Watson for making a delicious apple cake and to Casey for being race director for most of the day. The barbecue lunch was as tasty as usual , a big thank you to the chefs. After the race some of us continued celebrating with Stumpy over an excellent meal at the Farmers Hotel at Vacy.

Test and Tune Day

We will be having a test and tune day on Saturday the 8th of August.
The doors will open at 8am , bring along any cars that you'd like to test on the track . It will give you a chance to get your cars ready for our upcoming club race day

A big thank you to everyone who attended our race last sunday and helped us make it the fun day that it was . Thank you so much to all the people that travelled long distances to get here , we had drivers from as far away as Bathurst , Sydney , Port Macquarie and Queensland. Also thank you to Chef Colin who once again did a great job with the BBQ. There was close fun racing in all 3 classes , with large fields of drivers in every race.

Our next race is scheduled for Sunday 21/06/26. Classes are Retro Can Am , either Hawk 9 Flexi gtp or 4500kv gtp depending on numbers and 6500kv Wing Cars.

East Coast Challenge
Last weekend we took a trip up to Maxx Sims n Slot Cars Family Fun Centre for their first feature race , The East Coast Challenge. Everything about the weekend was brilliant , the race was well organised by Lyndon and all his helpers , the food was superb , well done Libby , the track was in great condition and perfect for flexi car and retro racing and the trophies were magnificent , there arent enough adjectives to describe just how great a weekend we had.
There was a large field of local and visiting drivers for all the races and the racing was close and frenetic. The whole weekend was extremely well organised and everything went without a hiccup.
I would like to say a big thank you to Buster for his marshalling skills and to Lyndon and Libby who both worked constantly over the whole weekend to make the event the great success that it was. 21 entries in the DTM class shows that they are doing something right.
Keep an eye out for their next event and take a trip to Port Macqyarie , you wont be disapointed.
