When we started the project in Yarram, we planned to involve local kids in painting murals all along but the pandemic made it impossible for quite some time…. until now!
In collaboration with the wonderful Hive team and local students, we were able to paint this mural.

Last month I went on a mission back to Harden Murrumburrah NSW to paint the second side of their silos, and to fully wrap it up in mural art. The unusually wet weather caused many delays and what was meant to be a 3 week project got dragged into a 6 week slogfest that was challenging both mentally and physically towards the end, but this allowed me to refine and redesign the artwork to make it sit better over the silos structure and have a multiple viewing angles.
Big thanks to everyone involved - Keith and Lorraine, Greg and Robin, Ken and Maryanne! Shout out to Karen for hosting me in her nice Airbnb for the duration of this project and everyone in the twin towns of Harden and Murrumburrah for their hospitality!

After years of waiting I finally got to paint my favourite place in UB, the Magic Mongolia 2 and my model was little Tuvshuku, and I also got to paint with my brother in paint Chinba who creates all the art at this wonderful centre for children in the ger districts.
I’m not used to seeing my self painted and forget what a strange feeling that is. Big thanks to young bro Ren for doing my ugly mug an honour of gracing a spot in UB. Ren and the rest of his .crew were the biggest surprise in this trip back home, with their fresh styles and skills and good energy, awesome to see our younger generation stepping up 💪
