Sydney Theatre Company’s acclaimed production of DOUBT: A PARABLE will be Auslan interpreted this July.

Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play, Doubt is one of the most gripping and thought-provoking dramas of the modern era. Set in a Catholic school in the Bronx in 1964, the story follows Sister Aloysius, a formidable principal who becomes convinced that a priest has engaged in inappropriate behaviour with a student. What unfolds is a powerful battle of conviction, suspicion and uncertainty, where the truth remains tantalisingly out of reach.

Featuring stage and screen icons Pamela Rabe and Sam Reid, this new Sydney Theatre Company production asks audiences a question that remains as relevant today as ever: what happens when certainty is impossible and doubt is all that remains?
Intelligent, compelling and deeply human, Doubt is theatre at its finest - a production that will have audiences talking long after the final curtain. This is a performance not to be missed.
