Built in 1894 originally for Lion Brewery until it closed in 1929. Some time after it was Eagers Holden Showroom, then in the 1980"s on was the Playpen , Bombay Rock and the Venue, all night clubs. Now its Planet fitness. Did you visit here during its many stages of life?

Another old pub, The Sovereign hotel oridinally built in 1897 but suffered severe damage from cyclone Leonita in 1903 and then completely destroyed in 1904 by fire. It was rebuilt later that year. I am not sure if it is still trading or not. Have you been there?
