💋 Ever wondered what burlesque is really like?

Maybe you’ve thought about giving it a try but told yourself you’re too shy, too old, too inexperienced, not flexible enough… or simply “that’s not for me.”

We’re here to tell you — burlesque is for EVERYONE. ❤️

You don’t need dance experience. You don’t need to be confident. You don’t need to know how to strut, shimmy or shake.

Just bring yourself and a willingness to have a little fun. ✨

Come as you are, learn something new, meet some fabulous people and discover what happens when you give yourself permission to take up a little space.

💃 Curious? Give it a go!

Send us a message and we’ll help you find the right class for you. 💋

This would be so much fun!! Enter to win and support a small local business at the same time!!

WIN A DOUBLE PASS TO NAFA SILENT DISCO

To celebrate our final weekend of Silent Disco at NAFA 2026, I’m giving away 3 double passes — so three winners will each receive entry for themselves and a friend.

This isn’t just a disco. It’s a walking tour through NAFA with wireless headphones, big music, games, dance challenges and plenty of ridiculous fun along the way.

You don’t need to be able to dance. You just need to be able to have fun.

To enter:

1. Like this post
2. Tag the person you’d bring with you
3. Share this post to help spread the word

Three winners will be drawn this Thursday at 5pm.
Each winner will receive one double pass for two people to a Silent Disco session during our final NAFA weekend.

We’re incredibly lucky to have NAFA bringing new and exciting shows to Townsville each year. ❤️
When they come to town, support them! It’s once a year, and we don’t get many opportunities to see this variety of incredible performances all in one place — or to learn from performers who travel to bring their craft to our community.
But supporting the arts doesn’t stop with NAFA.
Support local too. 🎭✨
Go to the local shows. Take a class. Support a local performer, musician, dancer, theatre group or creative. Buy a ticket. Share their posts. Tell your friends.
Because if we want Townsville to have a thriving arts scene, we have to support it while it’s here.
NAFA, local performers, independent artists and community groups all add something different to our arts community — and there’s room for all of us. ❤️
Support the shows that come to Townsville. Support the artists who live here. Support the arts. Lux Noir Townsville. Global Dance Collective Muses Of Temptation North Australian Festival of Arts La Ronde | International Grand Variété Show
