Indiafest Townsville Inc. Since 2014, India Fest has featured the best of Indian culture, cuisine, commerce, and entertainment event at Riverway Townsville.

Indian culture is quite diverse and mostly every state speak a completely independent language. India Fest Townsville Inc., has the idea to show-case Indian talents, culture and food to the society we live in. And also suggested that since there are a significant number of people of Indian origin lives outside Townsville especially in the nearby satellite cities such as Ayr, Mackay, Ingham, Tully

and Innisfail. Though we donโ€™t have the correct data, we roughly estimate that North Queensland is the home of over 800 Indian families, who call Australia our home. So over all we are expecting a much bigger participation than the last year. This year India Fest is on Saturday 13th August from 10am to 9pm, At River way, Kirwan, Townsville QLD.

Dear Indian Community,

On behalf of India Fest Townsville, we sincerely thank everyone for your wonderful attendance and active participation in the Indian High Commission Consular Camp. It was encouraging to see over 50 community members meet with the consular team to address and resolve matters related to passports, visas, OCI, and other services.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sam Kadavil, Orange Health Services for generously providing the venue to host this important initiative.

India Fest Townsville 2025 was a remarkable celebration of culture, community, and connectionโ€”and it wouldnโ€™t have been possible without the incredible support of our ๐†๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ง๐ž๐ซ, ๐Œ๐ข๐ค๐ž ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting with ๐Œ๐ฌ ๐Š๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ž๐ฒ and ๐Œ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ณ๐ก๐ข๐š ๐‰๐š๐œ๐จ๐›๐ฌ๐ž๐ง, and presented an ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ข๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž to acknowledge their ongoing commitment to making India Fest a success. Over the years, the Mike Carney Group has stood alongside us, demonstrating that investing in community events is just as important as business success.
