This painting was created to give the idea of an outdoor family outing, the bond between Mother and daughters….. away form screens in a beautiful Townsville location.

The red kites unify the figures and there red colour contrasts with light blue of the sea.

The Mother’s bike shows she leads by example, doing an activity that isn’t just spectating but also showing her daughters that fitness is fun.
The complexity of the bike’s shape balances Castle Hill in the background & the figures in the foreground.

Beachs are the best playground for sure In Townsville’s location with the hill in the background.

‘ Sinni’s Blessings’ NFS gift to my Niece.
This is a cross-cultural painting (African/ Australian celebrating by niece’s 30 th birthday) : adopted from Ethiopia, by my sister Toni, 🇪🇹 spent her childhood in Townsville, now working as a nurse in Darwin.
Symbolism
❤️ African sun
❤️ Ibis ( African/ Townsville) in the middle to show the world is a small place.
❤️ Barramundi ( Townsville: a fishing 🎣 hobby of her extended family)
The palm trees 🌴 living in tropical heat .
❤️ House : Sinni’s visit to Townsville: she I will always have a place to stay
❤️ Magpie Geese in Left background : she has left the nest to living Darwin. Following her dreams…
❤️ Yellow flower 🌼 in her hair: symbolic of the Ethiopian 🇪🇹 area she was born .
❤️ Mangoes 🥭 symbol of Bowen : seaside town in North Queensland where her Aunts and Uncles are originally from and her Adopted Mother now lives .

My first overseas sale ! My painting passed the Pub Test 🙌
This first photo was taken after the sale at the Airlie Beach Pub. to Diane, standing beside my painting n next my brother-in-law Merv @ a get together.
Diane ( on holiday from the USA) lived in Townsville and worked with my sister Justine. ( sitting beside me). before moving back to the USA.
The second photo was at the freight shop in West End: to have it packed here in Townsville to be shipped to the USA.
I am still a pretty clueless about selling my paintings online… and this page is a start !
Next step to organise a Web Site : this year.
