I just couldn’t help myself with this clip, I watch it every single time. It’s the small things 😂

A return for the gorgeous blue!
Some more progress on the painting this morning, escaping the studio before it gets too hot, admin in the aircon for the rest of the day.

Tried to film some ‘content’ at the studio this week. Looking back in the videos and I’m realising there’s a reason why I don’t! Apart from me loosing my marbles on a daily basis (thank you perimenopause), why am I painting with my mouth wide open? 🫣🫣

✨ Some exciting news to share… ✨

I’m incredibly proud (and, if I’m honest, absolutely terrified in the same breath!) to share that I’ve been selected to exhibit at The Emerging Art Fair, Melbourne, in May 2027! 🤍 The Emerging Art Fair AU

The fair celebrates some of Australia’s most exciting emerging and unrepresented artists. To be part of a platform that champions artists at this stage of their journey feels incredibly special and I am grateful to Curator Amber Creswell Bell for giving me this opportunity.

Over the next seven months, I’ll be spending lots of time in the studio, creating a new body of work, developing existing ideas and exploring new directions. There’s a lot to do, plenty to learn, and no doubt a few moments of self-doubt along the way!

I’m excited to bring you along for the journey — the ideas, the experiments, the works in progress, the messy middle and hopefully a few breakthroughs along the way.

Putting yourself out there can feel equal parts exhilarating and terrifying, but I’m so grateful for this opportunity and incredibly proud to be taking this next step in my art practice.

Here’s to the next seven months of creating, growing, taking risks and seeing where it all leads. 🎨✨

Melbourne, May 2027 — I can’t wait!

A productive day in the studio ✨🎨

I’m still getting used to my new studio space, and while the view is very distracting, I’ve managed to get lots done today! 😂

A day of prepping, painting, planning and packaging, with a couple of exciting things in the pipeline that I can’t wait to share with you all soon. 👀✨

First up, I’m getting ready for the All About Art Exhibition at the end of next month, so there’s plenty to do behind the scenes! All About Art

Back to it tomorrow! 🤍

Woo hoo I finally finished my entries for the this will be my third year of participating and it’s the most rewarding exhibition. And even better I actually remembered to register my artworks this year! I was too eager last year and had to email after 😝

I’m exploring Sydney this weekend with the family and we went to see Ron Mueck’s Encounter exhibition. I’ve never seen anything so amazing! The sculptures literally looked like they could just get up and walk away, so incredibly lifelike. A must see.
