The countdown is on!

In just over a week, studios across Toowoomba will open their doors for the Toowoomba Studio Art Trail. I've been busy getting everything ready and can't wait to welcome visitors into my creative space.

What a lovely way to finish my 6 week soft pastel painting course! Blue eggs were today’s subject of choice and how delicious do they look? I love the glow that everyone achieved by not being afraid of the dark and saving the light for last!
Now it’s time to pack away the art class gear and prepare my art space for the Toowoomba Studio Art Trail.
I hope you’ll come and visit me in September, I’m open every weekend!

When friends invite me to run an art workshop for their friends, who am I to say no? Most of these ladies had never tried soft pastels or done any art since school! And the best part? Everyone went home smiling and feeling happy with their results.
Makes my heart sing 🎶

This week’s art class subject, a sweet little landscape with a wide blue sky, green grass and flowers, some trees and a church. Love the ‘old worldly’ vibes.

Pretty Proteas Workshop today! I’ve really enjoyed teaching my students how to paint a pretty protea in soft pastels. It was a great day! Well done everyone 🌸
