What a wonderful workshop we had today! A full class of enthusiastic artists having a go at soft pastels. Such a lovely day with a lovely bunch, and look at all the fabulous paintings they did! Straight to the pool room I reckon!

Today’s art class subject was an Australian landscape - look familiar? I love that everyone used different colours to achieve unique artworks, each with its own style. Well done class!

Roosters were this week's art class subject! Big bold bright colours on dark paper - we love that! Some roosters went home headless and became homework, others flew off loud and proud. The best part is seeing students leave the class with smiles and a little bit more confidence to paint with pastels. Crowing with delight!

This weeks art class welcomed 8 students who are interested in learning how to paint and draw with soft pastels. Our first subject was a simple still life. Can you believe that some of these students haven’t done art since school! We created a delicious selection of lovely lemons!
