🎟️ Already bought your Headland Pass? Time to choose your sessions!

We know some passholders have found the new booking system a little tricky to navigate (and we hear you!). We’re working with our ticketing provider to make things easier.

In the meantime, we’ve put together this simple step-by-step guide to booking your sessions.

Our biggest tip: LOG IN FIRST. Once you’re logged in, your pass is linked to your account and you can select your Pass Redeem option when booking each eligible session — no need to enter a validation code each time.

Weekend Pass holders can choose up to 8 eligible sessions, while Saturday and Sunday Pass holders can book eligible sessions on their pass day.

No pass required. No need to commit to the whole festival. Just choose the writers, conversations and ideas you want to hear — and come along.

So… what HAVE we been up to? 👀 Quite a lot, as it turns out.

We launched the 2026 program. We’ve been talking books (a lot). We are loving our line-up. And 134 stories landed in our inbox for the Olga Masters Short Story Award.

Now we’re counting down to October — and getting very excited about filling those seats again.

There’ll be big ideas, brilliant writers, arguments, stories, poetry, music, unexpected conversations and, because this is Tathra, quite possibly a whale or two cruising past. 🐋
