Just WOW…. What a night! 🥹✨🎶

Our second Community Sing Circle was absolutely beautiful. Full of singing, dancing, laughter, fairy lights, colour, connection, and so much joy!

People of all ages came together, let loose, sang their hearts out, danced like crazy and created the most incredible alcohol-free party atmosphere. No alcohol, no masks, no pressure, just real connection, music, movement and community.

Some people shared that the night felt genuinely life-changing and honestly… I felt that too 🥰

A huge thank you to every single person who came along, brought the energy, supported the vision and helped make the room feel so alive.

Thank you also to our beautiful helpers, volunteers, musician, community supporters, and for all the work you do in helping the community, It really does take a village to raise us all up ❤️

This is what Community Sing Circle is all about.

Connection. Music. Joy. Belonging.

And proof that we can have just as much fun, if not more, without alcohol.

Thank you, Northern Beaches. My heart is so full. I can’t wait till the next one on 25th July in Manly 🥰🎶✨

Tonight was one of those beautifully strange, spontaneous, imperfect, magical little nights that reminds me exactly why I’m doing what I’m doing with Community Sing Circle.

A large home living room full of people, cushions on the floor, dogs wandering around, incense, sage, Palo Santo, maracas, little drums, bells, unusual instruments, animal noises, laughter, singing, dancing, shaking, clapping and people just having a go.

No polished performance.

No perfect structure.

No need to be “good” at anything.

Just humans making sound together.

Some people were musicians. Some people weren’t. Some people spoke English, some people spoke Spanish and somehow the whole thing just worked.

There was something so beautiful about watching music become a shared language in the room. Messy, playful, soulful, silly, alive.

Thank you so much to the gorgeous soul Olivia behind for opening up such an incredible space and creating such a warm, wild, creative little gathering in her home sweet home.

Thank you to the beautiful musicians who brought the room to life, and to every single person who sang, shook a maraca, banged a drum, danced, made a noise, laughed, listened or simply joined in.

This is the kind of thing I want more of.

Tiny little pockets of music, connection, play and community.

The kind of nights where nobody has to be impressive.

You just have to show up, join in, and let yourself be part of the sound.

Feeling very inspired tonight.

🎶✨ Introducing What’s Worth Sharing Wednesday

Every Wednesday, we’re opening up space in our Community Sing Circle Facebook + WhatsApp groups for our local community to share what they’re creating, offering, hosting or looking for.

This is for offerings connected to music, movement, creativity, wellbeing, nourishing wholefoods, alcohol-free connection, local culture, family-friendly gatherings and community-building.

It might be a class, gig, workshop, event, music or singing offering, dance / movement class, wellbeing offering, wholefood meal or product, creative project, venue, collaboration call-out or community-minded business.

Community Sing Circle is about more than one night of singing, it’s about building a living, breathing community around music, creativity, connection, nourishing food and shared experiences.

If you’re local and have something beautiful, helpful or community-hearted to share, come join us.

Comment SHARE and we’ll send you the group links 🎶✨

A little backyard moment after the FLORENCE🌸Women in Construction Luncheon today for Master Builders Association at the grounds at Alexandria.

I was home, still dressed up, the camellias were blooming behind me, Ziggy was barking / singing in the background… and it felt like the perfect moment to share something a little more raw and human.

Today I was there at with my team in my new role as Community Engagement Lead for the incredible women at which feels very aligned with so much of what I care about: connection, community, women supporting women and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, included and part of something.

And in less than three weeks, we gather again for our next Community Sing Circle on Saturday 23rd May in Mona Vale.

In this little video I share a bit of the story behind why I started it, from being a little girl and teen, singing in my bedroom after school, to later realising how powerful it felt to sing in a circle with other people.

Community Sing Circle was born from that feeling.

Not performance.
Not perfection.
Just voices, connection, music, food and a room full of people remembering how good it feels to be human together.

We’ve also now started Vocal Gym Class on Monday nights as a gentle weekly practice space for anyone wanting to build confidence with their voice between the bigger events.

If you’ve been curious, this is your sign to come along.

Saturday 23rd May
Mona Vale Memorial Hall
5pm–9pm

Tonight was our very first Vocal Gym Class 🎵 🎤

9 beautiful people showed up with open minds, open hearts, and a willingness to try something a little different.

Some had singing experience.
Some had none at all.
Some hadn’t sung properly for a very long time.

And that is exactly why this class exists.

Vocal Gym Class is not about performing, being polished, or getting everything right.

It’s a space to breathe, stretch, warm up, hum, play with sound, make mistakes, sing out of tune, laugh a little, and slowly build confidence through repetition and practice.

Because singing is not just technical.

It’s intuitive.
It’s vulnerable.
It asks us to be willing to be heard before we feel “ready.”

So tonight, we kept the room soft and calm….no harsh white lights, just fairy lights, dim blue ocean-wave lighting, and a gentle atmosphere designed to help the nervous system settle.

We also didn’t take photos or videos during the class, because I don’t want people feeling like they’re being watched, judged, observed or turned into content while they’re learning to use their voice.

This is a performance-free space.

A place to experiment.
A place to play.
A place to reconnect with the voice in a way that feels gentle, human and safe enough to be imperfect.

Thank you so much to everyone who came tonight.

Back next Monday at 7pm at OneSpace Studio, Mona Vale 🎶

And yes we did sing “Maniac” from Flashdance and yes it was fun!!
