This is the painting we’ll be creating at my next Paint & Tea Workshop at Zensation Teahouse on the 26th of September 🖼

You don’t need to be “good at painting” or have any watercolour experience. I’ll guide you through it step by step, and I’ll be there to help when something doesn't quite go according to plan.

And of course, we’ll be doing all of this at the lovely Zensation Teahouse, with complimentary tea to keep us going. ☕️🎨

This is the painting we’ll be creating at my next Paint & Tea Workshop at Zensation Teahouse on the 26th of September 🖼

A few of you who’ve joined my workshops before asked for something brighter and more colourful, so I took that request and ran with it. 😄

What I love most about these workshops isn’t just the finished painting. It’s sitting around a table together, trying something new, chatting, making a few happy accidents and watching everyone's paintings slowly become their own.

You don’t need to be “good at painting” or have any watercolour experience. I’ll guide you through it step by step, and I’ll be there to help when something doesn't quite go according to plan.

And of course, we’ll be doing all of this at the lovely Zensation Teahouse, with complimentary tea to keep us going. ☕️🎨

I’m really looking forward to this one. I think we’re going to have a lot of fun with the colour. 💜🩷🩵

I’m so happy to say that all three of my little Sydney lunch thieves found new homes at this year’s Incognito Art Show! 🥹

These were never intentionally meant to become a series… but apparently I had unconsciously painted Sydney’s three most notorious lunch stealers. 😂

This was my third year participating in Incognito, and it means a lot to be able to contribute my work to such a wonderful cause while doing something I love.

Thank you to everyone who bought a little piece of my work, and to Incognito Art Show for creating such a brilliant way for artists and art lovers to support a very important cause. ❤️

Seeing the person’s reaction when they finally get to see their painting.

This portrait of Chili and Luna was a surprise gift from a friend , and I had such a lovely time painting these two gorgeous pups. 🐶🐶

It was such a pleasure bringing Chili and Luna to life in watercolour, and I’m so glad their portrait could become such a special gift.

If you’ve ever thought about getting a custom pet portrait of your furry family member, I’d love to paint them for you. 🎨🐾

A little peek behind the scenes.

I've been really busy at my costume making job and barely had time and energy looking after the brushes from the workshops I had on the weekends in the past month.
Luckyly watercolour is easy to clean up even if it dried in the brush, but if the bristles bent out of shape they needed to be restored. Hot water and a little gum arabic goes a long way to reshape synthetic brushes.

Disclaimer: I'd never let this happen to my professional brushes 😅 even though they are also synthetic (I refuse to paint cute animals with brushes that's made from equally cute animals 🫣)

It's getting colder 🥶 One of my favourite things to do in the cooler season is having a hot cup of tea while painting. It's just feels so cosy and relaxing. 😌🎨🫖🍵
